Grok Bot for teams and companies
I roll Grok Bot out across your team one job at a time, with the right admin settings, approvals and a monthly check, priced per bot.

Grok Bot Setup Pro helps teams roll out Grok Bot safely: Zechariah Tokar pilots one job, sets the admin rules, then adds bots that each own one outcome. Your IT lead stays in control. Your staff get bots that do real work, one job at a time.

Why companies roll Grok Bot out slowly
The pressure usually comes from the top. On Reddit's r/sysadmin forum, an IT admin wrote that executives wanted Grok given access to everything. The safe answer is one job per bot and the least access that job needs.
- Every member of a Teams plan gets Grok Bot, with usage set by their seat
- Each user's bots share one cloud computer and its logins
- Teams without a network policy default to allow-all
- The organisation-wide switch and most security controls are Enterprise only
How a Grok Bot team rollout runs
- Pick the pilot. One team, one repeatable job with a clear result, like support triage or weekly reporting.
- Set the rules first. Team rules, which apps bots may connect to, who may share templates and who may run on local computers.
- Build the pilot bot. Its job, its skill, its routine and its approvals, tested with the people who will use it.
- Turn it into a template. A template shares the recipe, not one person's logins or files, so colleagues install their own copy.
- Add the next job. Only once the first bot runs cleanly.
Teams plan or Enterprise plan?
| Control | Teams | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|
| Grok Bot for every member | Included | Admin turns it on |
| Team rules, app policy, template sharing, shared bots | Yes | Yes |
| Single sign-on (SAML 2.0) | Your existing Cursor SSO applies | Your existing Cursor SSO applies |
| Network controls, team secrets, setup scripts | No | Yes |
| Enforced Auto Review of risky actions | No | Yes |
| Action recording (90-day retention), audit exports, SCIM | No | Yes |
| Hosting | Cursor-hosted | Cursor-hosted, no on-premises option |
Teams seats cover the basics. If your security team needs network controls or recorded actions, plan for Enterprise before the rollout, not after.
Team rollout or one bot for the owner?
If you are the only one using it, a single Grok Bot setup is enough. Every bot in a rollout then gets Grok Bot management each month.
Grok Bot for teams: questions
How is a team rollout priced?
Per bot: $749 to set up and $299 a month to manage. Grok Bot seats are paid to SpaceXSI or Cursor.
Can each employee have their own bot?
Yes. Each user gets their own cloud computer. Shared bots also let one bot serve a whole channel or team.
Does our IT team stay in control?
Yes. I work inside the admin settings your plan allows, and nothing gets wider access than its job needs.
Is Grok Bot trained on our company data?
SpaceXSI states it does not use business data, including prompts and answers, to train its models. Read the full terms with your legal team.
