Grok Bot for financial advisors

I set up a Grok Bot for internal work only: meeting notes, review agendas, CRM upkeep and a morning brief, with every client message held for you and your compliance process.

Grok Bot Setup Pro sets up Grok Bot for financial advisors with compliance first: Zechariah Tokar builds a bot for internal prep work at wealth management and financial planning firms, and holds every client message for a person. I do not give financial or compliance advice. Your compliance team approves the setup before it touches client data.

Why advisors keep the bot internal

FINRA reminded member firms in 2024 that existing rules cover AI tools, including ones built into third-party products.

Where advisors should start

Start with meeting notes and review prep. Both stay inside the firm, both repeat every week, and neither talks to a client.

What to settle with compliance first

  • Which client data the bot may read (read-only access where possible), and where its files live
  • How its work is kept for recordkeeping, with an audit trail of what it did
  • Who reviews drafts before anything reaches a client
  • Whether your firm needs Enterprise controls such as recorded actions (kept 90 days)

What stays with you

Financial advice, recommendations, investment decisions, trades and every client communication. Your fiduciary duty stays with you, and I set the bot so it does not send messages that could read as advice.

Grok Bot for financial advisors: questions

Is Grok Bot FINRA compliant?

No tool is compliant on its own. FINRA's rules apply to how your firm uses it, so your compliance team decides. I set the bot up inside their rules.

Is client data used to train Grok's models?

SpaceXSI states it does not train on business data, including prompts and answers. Have compliance read the data terms themselves.

Can it manage investments?

No. I do not set up bots that trade or give advice.
